What is more blue?

His eyes or his vest

It won't be long

I see walking in the near future...my little boy is growing up. I am sad but excited to hit another milestone. Man, Garrett is almost a year old, walking, and Rachel is potty trained or getting there!!

Boys always seem to get the good eyelashes!!

Precious moment

Naptime is precious for both of us-I run around trying to "maintain" and get something accomplished but at the same time it is sometimes too quiet. Don't get me wrong the downtime is nice, but after they go to sleep I miss them. This is a rare moment for Rachel!!

Buddies

Garrett air drying after bath and Rachel trying to show him how to go down the stairs-luckily we haven't had any stair accidents (knock on wood)

Someday I will get them to both smile at the same time

How can you not smile....

Rachel's new thing is to be the first one in Garrett's room-when he wakes in the morning, after name-and even in the middle of the night. This morning I heard them in his crib singing songs-music to my hears and heart.

He always wakes up with a smile-one of my favorite things in the whole world is walking into his room when he wakes up.

Hot Tub aka Bath Tub

Father and daughter-how cute!

Garrett isn't quite old enough yet...but he doesn't want to miss any of the action. But I have to keep my eye on him...he is notorious for putting anything and everything in his mouth-you know the usual potato bug, dead wasp, rocks, etc....I am almost kind of scared to see what is in there.

She just loves the water!

Trick or Treating

Rachel really got the hang of it...almost too much....she kept asking for more candy.

Almost!!

Halloween

Don't they look excited!!

What does a lion say....."Roarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr"

What does a giraffe say......"Ugh-Ritz please"

Pumpkin Patch Day

We went to Mosby Brother's Farm in Black Diamond-it was awesome and only 10 minutes from the house.

Rachel wanted to take every pumpkin home!

We have graduated from the front pack to the backpack-mainly to save mom some back pain and I kept hitting Garrett's face on everything!

Sunny Daze

Enjoying some of the last sunny days-Garrett was pretty fascinated with the grass!

Hello blue eyes

Boys always seem to get the long lashes

Growing up

I swear it felt like yesterday that Rachel was still in her crib and Garrett was just born. People are not joking when they say time flies when you have kids so enjoy every minute. The latest and greatest-Rachel is blowing us away with her vocabulary and of course her new favorite phrase "Let me do it myself" and Garrett is crawling/everywhere oh and loves to eat (maybe a boy thing?)
Garrett sitting in his new big boy booster-he loves it because it is just like his big sister's! And we said goodbye to baby food-hello finger foods!

Rachel in her big girl bed-yes that little brown thing is her head

We did the Puyallup!

"Did someone say Elephant Ear"
This was Rachel's favorite ride-we stayed on a couple times!

At first the rides were a little scary

Check out the shoes!

Before we moved we thought we would have some fun-Rachel wanted to dress Garrett up!
WE ARE FINALLY IN OUR HOUSE!!! So things have been crazy busy already here moving and all.

Garrett hanging with Papa at the Machinist Union picnic....

....while Rachel and I are checking out the prizes for the races.

Trying the goggles in the tub first

Garrett just chillin after a delicious meal!
Garrett's look is pretty typical for when Rachel is in the room-now that he is getting bigger and more active they are fun to watch!

Getting the two to smile at the same time is nearly impossible, but the fact that they were both looking at the camera is pretty good!

Jesse and Rachel on the boat

Streches before swimming-Garrett seems to think something is pretty funny!

Here is our little swimmer, the cap is a must!

We went to the Ocean for a couple days-and of course have been swimming like crazy!

It is amazing how different each one can be-can you guess who is the fair one! But they change so much at the same time-especially Garrett he is growing into a little boy (happy sad moment).

Crescent Bar-family vacation

We enjoyed a week in the sun at Crescent Bar-Garrett totally grew some hair on vacation and Rachel basically slept in her swimsuit!! Where there is water there is Rachel!
